About Us

Ben Siegmann – Firm Principal

Ben Siegmann founded SA Estate and Succession Lawyers in order to provide high end national expertise within the fields of Estate and Succession Law including Estate Planning in a more personable, nimble and agile way that is accessible to all South Australians without having to go to high end, expensive top tier law firms.

Prior to founding SA Estate and Succession Lawyers, Ben was a director of a national legal practice working exclusively in estate planning, estate administration, trusts and philanthropy as part of the large national mutual company Australian Unity which employed over 7,000 staff and had its own national trustee company.

Ben also founded the national incorporated legal practice for estate planning and estate administration and trusts associated with Flinders Trustees acting as its founding solicitor director and was for a long time a partner in one of South Australia’s oldest law firms having honed his legal skills in civil and commercial work both transactional and litigious with a particular interest in Business and Inheritance Law. Ben also invests in the next generation of South Australian Lawyers by working as an adjunct with the College of Law.

Today, Ben brings his 20 plus years of legal practice experience and his postgraduate qualifications in Law to the table as firm principal of SA Estate and Succession Lawyers to guide a boutique focused team which is in turn a leading and preferred provider of estate planning and probate services to a variety of Australian Financial Service License Holders including Trustee Companies, Accounting Practices, Financial Planning Practices and High Net Wealth Family Groups as well as everyday Australians on all stages of life’s journey.
